1. Who we are

SellerSonar — Events & Buy Box Tracker (“SellerSonar Extension”, “we”, “our”) is a Chrome add-on that overlays Buy Box analytics and listing-health alerts on Amazon product pages.

We do not read your browsing history, personal Amazon account info, payment data, or any pages outside amazon.* domains.

• All data in Chrome is held in extension local storage (only in current browser), from other sites and extensions.
• All traffic to app.sellersonar.com uses TLS 1.3; server files are AES-256 encrypted at rest.
• Only authorised employees can access operational data; annual penetration tests and automated dependency scanning keep defences current.
• Deletion: Email, auth token, and settings are removed automatically when you log out or uninstall the extension.

5. Legal basis

For EEA/UK users we process listing and account data under legitimate interest (to provide the core functionality). Diagnostic logs are processed only with your consent (opt-in).

6. Data sharing & selling

We never sell or rent your data. We share only with:

• Infrastructure provider: AWS (EU-West) hosting app.sellersonar.com
• Messaging providers: SendGrid (email) and OneSignal (push) to deliver chosen alerts.

All vendors are bound by GDPR-compliant agreements and may not repurpose your data.

7. Your rights

• Erase or export: Log out or uninstall to delete local and server-side data.
• Access / objection: Email [email protected] for any privacy request.
• EEA/UK: You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority if needed.

8. Compliance with Chrome Web Store policies

We collect only data directly related to the extension’s described features and use it solely for those purposes, in line with Google’s Disclosure & Limited-Use rules.

9. International transfers

Data is stored in the EU; any transfers outside the EEA use Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Children

The extension is not directed to children under 16 and does not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes to this policy

Material changes will be announced:

1. Via an updated policy on the Chrome Web Store listing, and
2. With an in-extension banner 14 days before changes take effect.
