    MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor pull live data from outside services. An Amazon MCP connects your AI to Amazon seller data, so you can ask questions in plain English instead of opening a dashboard.   • Do I have to connect my Seller Central account?

    No. SellerSonar reads only Amazon's public pages, so there is no SP-API grant, no OAuth, and no login sharing. You connect SellerSonar. Your Amazon account stays untouched.

  • Can it really monitor competitor ASINs?

    Yes, that’s the point. Since SellerSonar tracks public Amazon pages, competitor ASINs work just like your own: price moves, stockouts, badge changes, review trends, Buy Box swings. Other MCPs that connect to your Seller Central can show you a competitor listing as it looks today, but they can’t tell you what changed or when. That takes real-time monitoring of the public page.
