How SharkGuard Works

SellerSonar SharkGuard

SellerSonar SharkGuard

SharkGuard is a SellerSonar feature that detects when a brand’s products appear on other Amazon marketplaces. It helps users check whether the product is being sold by their own brand, an approved seller, or an unauthorized seller who may be listing the product without permission.

If the product belongs to the user’s own marketplace expansion, no action is needed. But if SharkGuard finds a suspicious seller, the brand can investigate and take action before unauthorized sales affect its reputation, reviews, pricing, or customer trust. Users can enable SharkGuard alerts and receive notifications in Slack, by email, or through webhooks.

SharkGuard is available in all plans.

What It Helps Brands Catch

  • Legitimate expansion: The brand’s own listings in another marketplace — no action needed.
  • Approved sellers: Authorized partners who are expected to sell.
  • Unauthorized sellers: Suspicious listings that may need investigation before they hurt reputation, reviews, pricing, or customer trust.

Notification Channels

SharkGuard alerts can be delivered in Slack, by email, or through webhooks so the right team member sees the alert immediately.
