Verdict: The best Keepa alternative depends on your job: camelcamelcamel for free price-drop emails, SellerAmp SAS or SmartScout for sourcing, Helium 10 or Jungle Scout for product research. To watch your own listings, a monitoring tool such as SellerSonar fits better, but it is not a price-history chart extension.
Best for: shoppers who find Keepa’s charts too busy, and sellers who pay for Keepa Pro but use one part of it. Look elsewhere if: you need years of price and sales-rank history across millions of products, because nothing on this list beats Keepa there.
This guide is for Amazon shoppers and sellers comparing Keepa alternatives as of November 4, 2026. We read every price and limit on each vendor’s own pricing page, help center or Chrome Web Store listing that day, sorted eight tools by the job they do, and took the screenshots below from those public pages.
Disclosure: SellerSonar publishes this guide and competes with Keepa only in alerts on your own listings. We rank SellerSonar for that one job, say where Keepa or another tool is the better choice, and link every fact to the vendor’s own page.
Why people look for a Keepa alternative
Keepa is very good at recording Amazon price history and sending a message when a price you chose is reached. The reasons people look around come from its own pages, not from bad data.
- The deeper data is paid, in euros only. Keepa Pro costs €29 a month or €290 a year, and the Keepa support FAQ says “we do not offer free trials, coupons, or promotional discounts” and “We bill exclusively in Euros.”
- Sales rank and offer-count graphs sit behind Pro. The Keepa Pro page lists “Advanced Graphs: Monitor Sales Rank, Offer Counts, and Rating/Review Counts” as a subscription benefit, next to the Product Finder and Buy Box statistics.
- Alerts fire on prices and stock. Keepa’s FAQ describes alerts as messages “when something is back in stock or when a price has reached a certain threshold”. There is no alert type for a new seller on your listing, a lost Buy Box or an edited title.
- Eleven marketplaces. Per the same FAQ, Keepa tracks the US, Germany, Great Britain, France, Italy, Spain, Canada, Japan, India, Mexico and Brazil. Sellers in the Netherlands, Poland, Australia or the UAE get no Keepa data.
- eBooks dropped out. Keepa’s FAQ says live price and offer tracking for eBooks and digital products “ended on April 20, 2026”.

Keepa’s API docs agree: every cause in its notification object, from desired price reached to back in stock, is about price or availability.
The price is the other trigger. At the European Central Bank’s reference rate of $1.1179 per euro on November 3, 2026, Keepa Pro’s €29 works out to about $32.42 a month, before any card conversion fee.

So the right replacement depends on which of three jobs you were doing with Keepa.
Shopper, sourcing seller or brand seller? Pick the job first
Keepa serves three groups with one chart, and each needs a different alternative:
- Shoppers want to know whether a “deal” is real and get an email when the price drops. A free tracker covers that.
- Sourcing sellers (online arbitrage, retail arbitrage and wholesale) use Keepa’s sales rank and offer history to decide whether to buy stock. They need profit, eligibility and sales estimates as well.
- Sellers with a live catalog use Keepa to watch their own prices and competitors. What they actually need is an alert when something changes on their listing, which is monitoring, not history.
Our camelcamelcamel alternatives guide covers the first group in depth, so this page focuses on sellers.

The 8 best Keepa alternatives, by job
1. camelcamelcamel (The Camelizer): best free tracker for shoppers
camelcamelcamel is the classic free Amazon price tracker, and The Camelizer is its browser extension. The Camelizer’s Chrome Web Store listing says you can “see historical pricing data or setup watches and get an email when the price drops”, on Amazon in the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia.

According to that listing, The Camelizer has 800,000 users, lists no in-app purchases and was last updated on June 7, 2024, so expect fewer new features than Keepa ships.
Does well: a clean price chart and price-drop emails at no cost. Falls short: no sales rank depth, no seller or Buy Box data, nothing for a catalog you sell.
2. DS Amazon Quick View: best free overlay for search pages
DS Amazon Quick View is a small free extension that adds rank and seller information to Amazon search results and Best Seller pages. Its Chrome Web Store listing shows 500,000 users and warns that it “Works only on amazon.com”.

The paid Extended version is “a one-time fee” and adds all Amazon domains, price history and an interactive Keepa graph, according to its listing. The license page did not show a price without opening the payment form, so we left the amount out.
Does well: BSR and seller counts across a whole search page with no account. Falls short: no alerts, and the history features lean on Keepa.
3. SellerAmp SAS: best for buy-or-skip sourcing decisions
SellerAmp SAS is the tool many arbitrage and wholesale sellers open next to Keepa. It answers “can I sell this, and will it make money” with eligibility checks, profit and ROI, IP and hazmat warnings and sales estimates.
According to the SellerAmp pricing page, Getting Started costs $19.95 a month or $199.50 a year with 1,000 lookups a month, and every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. It covers seven marketplaces: the US, UK, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.

SellerAmp is honest about the overlap. Its SellerAmp vs Keepa page marks SAS price charts as “powered by Keepa data”, shows no price-drop alerts or watchlists, and says “Many serious sellers run both”. SellerAmp also offers QVS, a free search-page extension that shows whether Amazon is on a listing and how many FBA and FBM sellers there are.
Best for: resellers deciding what to buy. Skip it if: you wanted to stop paying for Keepa data, since SAS charts still come from it.
4. SmartScout extension: best free allowance for arbitrage and wholesale
SmartScout is a brand and seller database for wholesale buyers, and its extension brings that data onto Amazon pages. The SmartScout extension listing offers “100 free, full-feature uses a month” with no contract or card.

Its history charts cover Buy Box and Amazon price, new offer count, rating count and category rank, per the listing, which is close to what Keepa Pro charts. The catch is setup: the extension “relies on a connection via Amazon’s SP-API”, so you link a seller account first.
Paid plans start at $29 a month billed yearly or $49 month to month on the SmartScout pricing page, with a 7-day money-back guarantee instead of a trial. Best for: wholesale sellers who want brand and seller data next to the chart.
5. Helium 10 Xray: best for private label product research
Xray is the product research tool inside the Helium 10 Chrome extension. It overlays estimated sales, revenue, review counts and seller counts on Amazon and Walmart search pages, which answers a different question from Keepa: is this niche worth entering?

The Helium 10 extension listing shows 1,000,000 users and an Inventory Levels tool that checks stock for sellers on the Buy Box. Helium 10’s help center lists Xray as “Limited Access” on the free plan and “Full Access” on Platinum.
Platinum costs $99 a month billed yearly or $129 month to month, per the Helium 10 pricing page. That buys the whole research suite: good value if you use Cerebro and Black Box too, expensive if you only wanted Xray. Our Helium 10 pricing review has the plan limits.
6. Jungle Scout extension: best for first-time product research
The Jungle Scout extension shows Best Seller Rank, historical sales and price fluctuations on Amazon search pages, plus an Opportunity Score and a Product Tracker. The Jungle Scout listing shows 300,000 users and says the extension is “included in every plan”.
Starter costs $29 a month billed yearly or $49 month to month on the Jungle Scout Catalyst plans page, which tracks 50 products with 30 days of history. There is no free trial, only a 7-day money-back guarantee.
Falls short: Jungle Scout’s help center says it sunset its Alerts feature, and Buy Box data sits in Cobalt, its enterprise tier. Best for: new private label sellers who want sales estimates more than price history.
7. AMZScout PRO Extension: best for quick niche scoring
The AMZScout PRO Extension scores niches and products for private label and reselling, with sales, price and rank history for both. Its Chrome Web Store listing shows 100,000 users and covers 14 Amazon marketplaces, from the US and UK to India, the UAE and Brazil.

The listing says you can “research 15 niches for free with the trial version” with no card. AMZScout’s pricing page would not load for us on November 4, 2026, so we don’t quote a price here; our AMZScout review covers the plans.
8. SellerSonar: best for alerts on your own catalog
SellerSonar does a different job from every tool above. It is a web app that checks the ASINs you add, your own and your competitors’, and sends an alert when something changes. It is not a price-history chart extension and it does no sourcing or product research.
What it watches, per SellerSonar’s own documentation: a new seller on a listing (Seller appeared), a seller leaving, a seller’s price change, Buy Box won or lost by Seller ID, title, bullet, description and image edits through content change alerts, and search or Buy Box suppression. Seller alerts name the seller, and content alerts show the before and after.

That is the alert Keepa cannot send. Per the SellerSonar plans page, Pro costs $19.98 a month billed yearly ($23.98 monthly) for 150 ASINs checked every 4 hours, with Seller appeared, Seller removed and price-change alerts. Buy Box Won and Lost alerts start on Premium at $39.98, and Business at $74.98 checks every hour.
SellerSonar covers 23 Amazon marketplaces and needs no Seller Central connection, so it works on competitor ASINs too. Its price history goes back 3, 6 or 12 months depending on plan, per SellerSonar’s feature list, which is far shorter than Keepa’s archive, so keep Keepa for long-range sourcing research.
🎯 Pro Insight: SellerSonar’s five Buy Box and Pricing alerts are switched off on a new account. Turn them on in Alerts, then Delivery Settings, and pick your own Seller ID, or a Buy Box alert can’t tell your offer from a reseller’s.
Keepa API alternatives
Developers searching for a Keepa alternative usually mean the API. Keepa sells it separately from Pro, priced by tokens per minute, and we compare it with other data APIs in our Amazon monitoring API guide.
💡 Expert Tip: Before you cancel Keepa, check where your new tool’s charts come from. SellerAmp SAS says its price charts are powered by Keepa data, and DS Quick View Extended embeds a Keepa graph. Some “alternatives” still run on Keepa underneath.
How to choose the right Keepa alternative
Match the tool to the question you ask most often; two cheap tools often beat one expensive suite.
| You are | Your question | Pick | Keep Keepa? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shopper | Is this a real deal? | camelcamelcamel | Free tier only, if at all |
| Arbitrage or wholesale seller | Should I buy this stock? | SellerAmp SAS or SmartScout | Often yes, for deep history |
| Private label seller | Is this niche worth entering? | Helium 10 Xray, Jungle Scout or AMZScout | Optional |
| Brand or reseller with a live catalog | What changed on my listings? | SellerSonar | Optional, for research |
| Developer | How do I get the data in code? | See our API guide | Compare API plans |
For a seller with a catalog, the cheapest useful stack is often Keepa’s free charts plus a monitoring tool. You read history when you research, and you get a message when a hijacker or a price cut hits a listing you sell.
On November 4, 2026, SellerSonar logged Amazon cutting its own price on a Levoit air purifier listing from $69.97 to $45.48, per SellerSonar data.

A Keepa price watch would catch that drop only if you had set a threshold first. SellerSonar records which seller moved, on every tracked ASIN, without a target price.
📌 From Our Experience: Price history shows that the Buy Box price moved, not who moved it. In our SellerSonar account, the Buy Box tracker for an iPhone 15 Renewed listing counted 104 stores between October 26 and 29, 2026, with D’Tech Mobile holding the Buy Box 27% of the time, per SellerSonar data.
Final Expert Recommendations:
Keep Keepa if you research products: its history and free charts are still the reference. Use camelcamelcamel if you only shop, SellerAmp SAS or SmartScout if you source, and Helium 10, Jungle Scout or AMZScout if you launch private label products. If your real worry is what happens to listings you already sell, SellerSonar’s product monitoring sends Buy Box and pricing alerts on your own catalog across 23 marketplaces, with no Seller Central connection.
