Verdict: Keepa pricing in 2026 has three layers: free price history charts and price-drop alerts, Keepa Pro at €29 a month or €290 a year, and API plans from €49 a month. The critical caveat: Keepa bills only in euros, offers no free trial, and its alerts fire on prices and stock, not on new sellers or listing edits.

Best for: arbitrage sellers, wholesalers and product researchers who need sales rank, Buy Box and offer history. Look elsewhere if: you need an alert when someone joins your listing, takes your Buy Box or edits your content.

This is a Keepa pricing guide for Amazon sellers who already use Keepa’s charts and want to know whether Keepa Pro or an API plan is worth paying for. We read every price on Keepa’s own Pro page, API pricing page, support FAQ and terms, and took the screenshots below from those public pages on November 4, 2026.

Disclosure: SellerSonar publishes this guide and competes with Keepa in Amazon listing monitoring, so we say where Keepa is the better choice and link every fact to Keepa’s own pages.

Keepa pricing in 2026: plans at a glance

Keepa has one free tier, one paid subscription for people (Keepa Pro) and a ladder of API plans for code and AI assistants. Prices are in euros; the dollar figures use the European Central Bank reference rate of $1.1179 per euro on November 3, 2026, rounded.

Plan Price in euros About in US dollars Billing What you get
Free €0 $0 – Price history charts on Amazon pages, price-drop and back-in-stock alerts
Keepa Pro, monthly €29 a month $32 a month Monthly, VAT included Sales rank, Buy Box, stock and seller data, Product Finder, 10,000 tracked products
Keepa Pro, yearly €290 a year (€24.17 a month) $324 a year Yearly, VAT included Same as monthly, saves €58
API Starter €49 a month $55 a month Monthly, prepaid, VAT added 20 tokens a minute
API Developer €459 a month $513 a month Monthly, prepaid, VAT added 250 tokens a minute
API Business €2,499 a month $2,794 a month Monthly, prepaid, VAT added 2,000 tokens a minute
API Enterprise €11,099 a month $12,408 a month Monthly, prepaid, VAT added 10,000 tokens a minute

This is the checkout panel that opens from the “Get Keepa Pro” button on Keepa’s Pro page, with both billing cycles side by side.

A few details change what you actually pay:

  • Euros only. Keepa’s support FAQ says “We bill exclusively in Euros”, so a US card is converted by your bank, and any foreign transaction fee your card charges comes on top.
  • VAT works differently per product. According to Keepa’s terms and conditions, Keepa Pro prices include VAT, while API prices are net and VAT is added at checkout where it applies.
  • No refunds for a started period. Per Keepa’s terms, the fee for a billing period that has begun is not refunded pro rata. Canceling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the paid period ends.
  • One person per subscription. Keepa’s support FAQ says subscriptions are per seat, and sharing within a business or a household is not permitted.

What changed (and what didn’t)

Keepa’s paid tier has changed name and price twice. According to Keepa’s news page, the original “Data” subscription cost 15€ a month in November 2017, and on May 1, 2021 the fee rose to €19 a month (€189 a year) for new subscribers.

Keepa news post, April 16, 2021: Data subscription fee rises to 19 euros a month or 189 a year
Keepa’s own announcement of the 2021 price change. Source: Keepa’s news page.

Today the same tier is called Keepa Pro and costs €29 a month, about 53% more than the 2021 price, per Keepa’s Pro page. The news page does not announce the step from €19 to €29, so we can’t date it, and older Keepa posts still call the plan “Data Access”.

What Keepa did add in 2026, per its news page: Seller Lookup, a Pro tool for searching merchants (August 10); a redesigned site and Deals page (August 19); a connector for AI assistants such as Claude (August 22), which runs on an API plan; and a filter builder for the Product Finder in beta (October 1). Keepa’s support FAQ also notes that live price tracking for eBooks and digital products ended on April 20, 2026.

💡 Expert Tip: If a blog post quotes Keepa at €19 or “around $20”, it is quoting the 2021 price, according to Keepa’s own news page. Check the Pro page before you budget: the yearly plan works out to €24.17 a month, not €19.

What €29 a month buys: Keepa Pro limits

Keepa Pro has no tiers, so the limits that matter are on the Pro page itself. Here is what it lists as of November 4, 2026.

Keepa Pro item Limit, per Keepa’s Pro page and support FAQ
Tracked products with updated price data Up to 10,000
Price-increase alerts Included
Data quota Refills 5% an hour, up to 100%; at 0%, new data requests stop until it refills
Bulk import and export Up to 36,000 products a day through the Product Viewer (Keepa’s example)
Interactive graphs Always available, do not use quota
Users 1 named person
API access “Basic API access”, a small allowance for trying the API
Amazon marketplaces 11

The graphs most sellers pay for are the ones Keepa calls Advanced Graphs: sales rank, offer counts, and rating and review counts. Keepa moved some graph types behind the subscription in February 2019 and, in its own words, “all other price histories remain fully accessible for free”.

Keepa Pro benefits and data quota: Product Finder, Buy Box statistics, 10,000 tracked products, 5% hourly refill

The quota is the limit you will feel first if you research in bulk. Keepa’s MCP server documentation says Pro “includes a small API allowance, enough to try the server”, so treat the API access in Pro as a test, not a working integration.

🎯 Pro Insight: According to Keepa’s support FAQ, a product that someone tracks is updated at least once an hour, and most others several times a day. That is why sourcing tools lean on Keepa: the more sellers watch a listing, the fresher its chart.

Keepa API pricing: you pay for tokens, not seats

According to Keepa’s API pricing page, every API plan includes every endpoint, all 11 marketplaces and the AI connector. Plans differ only in how many tokens you get each minute. Tokens refill every minute, and unused ones expire after 60 minutes.

API plan Tokens a minute Tokens a month Price a month (net) Keepa says it is good for
Starter 20 892,800 €49 Trying the API, an AI assistant, a small catalog
Developer 250 11,160,000 €459 An app or a repricer on a mid-size catalog
Business 2,000 89,280,000 €2,499 Large catalogs and daily market scans
Enterprise 10,000 446,400,000 €11,099 Full category coverage, data products

Between the named plans, a slider sets any rate from 20 to 50,000 tokens a minute. According to Keepa’s API pricing page, 60 tokens a minute costs €129, 500 costs €879, 1,000 costs €1,499 and 4,000 costs €4,499 a month.

Keepa API plans, November 2026: Starter 49, Developer 459, Business 2,499, Enterprise 11,099 euros a month

What a token buys is set out in Keepa’s Plans & Tokens documentation: 1 token per product request, 10 per product search, 50 per best-seller list, and 1 per seller (plus 9 for the storefront). The same page says “Keepa does not offer discounts”, upgrades are charged pro rata, and downgrades are allowed once every 28 days as account credit, with no refund.

For a small catalog, the entry plan goes a long way. Keepa’s own plan picker suggests Starter “for 10,000 products, refreshed once a day, with room to spare”. If you only need a feed of your own listings rather than Keepa’s history, compare it with the options in our Amazon monitoring API guide.

Is Keepa free? The free tier and the missing trial

Yes, the core of Keepa is free. According to its Chrome Web Store listing, the extension “adds price history charts and the option to be alerted on price drops to all supported Amazon sites” and needs no account. The listing shows 5,000,000 users and a 3.4 out of 5 rating from 5.1K ratings, with an update on October 26, 2026.

Keepa’s support FAQ adds that you can use Keepa without registering, and that a free account is worth having to manage your price watches and alert settings. Alerts arrive by email, Telegram, web push or the Keepa app.

What the free tier leaves out is most of what sellers use: sales rank, offer count and rating graphs, Buy Box statistics, stock levels, the Product Finder and exports. Keepa lists all of them as Pro benefits.

There is no trial of Pro either. Asked “Do you offer discounts or free trials?”, Keepa’s support page answers: “No. To maintain fair and transparent pricing for all customers, we do not offer free trials, coupons, or promotional discounts.”

So the cheapest way to test Pro is one paid month at €29, canceled before it renews, per Keepa’s support FAQ and terms.

What Keepa does well

  • History depth. According to Keepa’s API page, price history goes back to 2011, and sales rank, offer and stock histories start later. Few seller tools come close.
  • Coverage at scale. Keepa’s API page counted 8,038,398,385 tracked products across 11 Amazon marketplaces on November 4, 2026.
  • A free tier that is useful on its own. Price charts sit right on the Amazon page, with no account needed.
  • Low price for the data. Yearly Pro works out to €24.17 a month, and that buys Buy Box statistics, stock history and the Product Finder.
  • Flexible API. One key covers all endpoints and marketplaces, and the same plan runs Keepa’s MCP connector for Claude and ChatGPT.

Where Keepa falls short for sellers watching their own listings

  • Alerts are thresholds. Keepa’s notification documentation lists six causes: tracking expired, desired price met, a price change after that, out of stock, back in stock, and desired price met again. None of them is “a new seller joined”, “Buy Box lost” or “title changed”.
  • You see who, but only after you look. Buy Box statistics and Seller Lookup show who held the Buy Box and at what price, inside the chart. Keepa’s tracking documentation lets you track offer counts, so a jump in sellers can trigger an alert, but it will not name the seller.
  • 11 marketplaces. Keepa covers the US, UK, Germany, France, Japan, Canada, Italy, Spain, India, Mexico and Brazil. Sellers in the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Turkey or the UAE get no data.
  • Euro billing, no trial, one seat. A team of three needs three Pro subscriptions, each billed in euros.

Is Keepa worth it?

For most Amazon sellers, yes, at least the free tier. Whether to pay depends on what you do every week.

Your situation Our take
Online or retail arbitrage Keepa Pro is close to essential. Sales rank and offer history decide whether a deal sells, and yearly billing keeps it under €25 a month.
Wholesale sourcing Pro pays for itself through the Product Finder, Buy Box statistics and stock history.
Private label, researching Use the free charts. Pay for Pro in the months you research, not all year.
Building a tool or repricer An API plan, sized by tokens. Start on Starter and move up with the slider.
Protecting your own live listings Keepa shows the history, but it will not tell you when a hijacker joins or your title changes. Pair it with a monitoring tool, see below.

Pros & cons

Pros: free price history charts and price-drop alerts; price history back to 2011; Buy Box, stock and sales rank data for €24.17 to €29 a month, per Keepa’s Pro page; flexible token-based API with an AI connector; tracked products refresh at least hourly.

Cons: billed only in euros; no free trial, coupons or discounts; no pro-rata refunds; one person per subscription; 11 marketplaces; alerts cover price and stock thresholds, not sellers or listing content.

When a monitoring tool makes more sense

If you pay for Keepa mainly to keep an eye on your own ASINs, the gap shows the day a hijacker arrives. Keepa records what happened; it does not tell you that a new seller appeared on your ASIN. That alert layer is what SellerSonar is built for, and it needs no Seller Central connection: you add any ASIN on any of 23 Amazon marketplaces.

SellerSonar Seller appeared alerts on a Sterilite cabinet on amazon.com: Suparnova FBM at $212.94, Oct 27, 2026
SellerSonar Seller appeared alerts, October 27, 2026: the alert names the seller, its fulfillment and its price.

The Buy Box and pricing alerts cover a seller appearing or leaving your listing, a seller’s price change, and, from the Premium plan, Buy Box won or lost by Seller ID, including who took it and at what price. The Buy Box tracker, also from Premium, keeps the kind of ownership history that Keepa’s statistics show.

SellerSonar alert categories with Buy Box and Pricing alerts expanded, November 2026
SellerSonar alert categories, with the Buy Box & Pricing group expanded.

It also watches the listing itself. Content change alerts show a title, bullet, description or image before and after, and retail issue alerts flag search suppression and Buy Box suppression.

SellerSonar Content Changes alert, Oct 30, 2026: Levoit title before and after, Restricted Keywords 100 to 0
A SellerSonar title change alert from October 30, 2026, with the restricted keyword it found.

On price, SellerSonar’s plans start at $19.98 a month billed yearly for Pro: 150 ASINs and 500 keywords, checked every four hours. Premium is $39.98 for 300 ASINs and checks every two hours, and it adds Buy Box Won and Lost alerts; Business is $74.98 for 500 ASINs and hourly checks. The free trial runs 14 days with 5 ASINs and 10 keywords.

Keepa still wins on two things, and we would not pretend otherwise. SellerSonar keeps up to 6 months of history on Pro, a year on Premium and unlimited history on Business, per its plans page, against Keepa’s history back to 2011, and Keepa refreshes a tracked product at least hourly, while SellerSonar Pro checks every four hours. SellerSonar also does no product research, sourcing or repricing.

📌 From Our Experience: The setups that work best split the jobs. Alerts tell you that something changed on your listing, then Keepa’s chart shows the history behind it.

Final Expert Recommendations:
Keep the free Keepa extension no matter what you sell. Pay for Keepa Pro, ideally at €290 a year, if you source by arbitrage or wholesale and need sales rank, offer and Buy Box history; buy an API plan only when you are building something on Keepa data. If what you need is to know when a seller joins, the Buy Box moves or your listing changes, SellerSonar’s listing monitoring watches any ASIN on 23 marketplaces, and its yearly Pro plan costs less a month than Keepa Pro.

Start your free 14-day SellerSonar trial and see what’s happening on your listings today.
